More Fabulous Freebies for Seniors
Freebie Depot: A Review

Offering new daily freebies, freebie-depot.com shares a variety of freebies. These freebies cover the spectrum, from pet items to office supplies. There is no age requirement to use the site, so seniors are welcome to peruse the offers and subscribe to the email notifications.

Freebie Depot is not a 'senior-specific' site and there is no specific 'seniors' category, however, a search for 'seniors' will bring up senior-specific freebies that have been recently posted. It should be noted as with all freebies offers that these offers may not still be available due to limited supplies or short time limits. The search will also bring up offers (ads) from other sites at the top of the page, so seniors will need to scroll down past them in order to find the 'senior-specific' offers posted by Freebie Depot.

Benefits

One benefit of the site not being 'senior-specific' is that more items are up for viewing by seniors, which gives seniors more opportunities to find items and services they may need that are not necessarily just for seniors.

Another benefit of the site is the multiple posts each day. This increases the odds for seniors to find freebie offers for those things they need.

Disadvantages

A disadvantage of the site not being 'senior-specific' is that the amount of offers seniors will need to sort through in order to find what they are looking for or qualify for. Some offers have age limits, residency specifications (such as still being in your own home) or other requirements (such as having young children at home) that can rule out seniors for products they may wish to try.

Ease of Use

Freebie Depot is an easy site to use, requiring mostly just scrolling to find freebies. Each freebie has a bright red tag posted on the left-hand side that identifies which day it was posted. Searches can be conducted, which quickly bring up good results, as noted above, along with some ad links at the top of the results.

The email subscription box is readily identifiable on the right-hand side, which offers seniors an easy way to keep track of new offers as they are posted. This can save tremendous time for seniors who are checking multiple freebies sites for offers.

Site navigation is easy to understand at a mere glance, with the freebies listed right on the main page, the search box close to the top and helpful tabs for things such as free rebates, free food and coupons right by the top, as well.

The Verdict

Overall, the site offers really good freebies and other things, however, in regards to its helpfulness to seniors, there are other sites out there which offer far more. Any senior who just wants to find great freebies and has the time to sort through Freebie Depot's offerings may love the site and find it to be a great addition to their freebies site list. Others though, who want to expend as little time as possible and to find as many senior-specific offers as possible will likely be disappointed.
